This sweet little 4 room cottage at Ave I closed in March.
108 Ave I was only on the market for about 30 days and had lots of looks but found the right owners just down the road in Tallahassee. It was the traditional architecture that grabbed them--really only 4 rooms with a chimney down the center of the house tying it all together (not even a hallway needed). And with one bedroom and bathroom just out the back porch it was the perfect weekend retreat.
No closets needed, but room for relaxing, reading and listening to our migratory birds. Check out how simple the kitchen is! And yes, it needed a bit of work--and closing price reflected that, $305,000. But lesson here--for a cottage that really reflects a second home/weekend getaway--less is best!
